Hello everyone, Your feedback and response thus far, has been incredibly encouraging and makes us even more excited about working together on this project for Africans by Africans!
We’ve had some initial talks and ideas on how this project may unfold and evolve but we need the community to help us shape this project in the best way possible. Your role in this new chapter of African storytelling is important. Once the Wikimedian-in-Residence is appointed, the selected individual will lead the process of developing the final details of the project on meta, in consultation with you - our communities in Africa. We want to share these initial insights of the project with all of you now through a Diff post (late next week) that will give more information and launch the call for applications for the Wikipedian-in-Residence role. We are happy to answer any other specific questions you may have through this email thread and further connect virtually in conversation as we move forward - together!
