I'm surprised Steve of all people doesn't know somebody who'd sell him an illegal cellphone jammer.

Paint them if you need it to look better. Steve: "this would be in public view, needs to be normal looking paint" You can do both. Get some kind of paneling. Could be 4x8 insulation, or flooring underlayment, or whatever is cheap. Line the room with it. Screw a firring strip along two edges to secure it to the wall or ceiling. It just needs one or two screws, minimize the number of holes you have putty over later. Cover that paneling with the foil. Put wallpaper on top of the foil. Test with a small box first like the man said. The thing is though is I think you'd have to worry about signal from any direction. You'd have to consider the walls, the ceiling, and the floor. What about openings for ducts? The heat needs to work during the experiment, right? If the floor is a concrete slab you might be covered there, but I don't think you'll know until you try it. What about the door? If there's 5 bars outside the door then I'd bet the gap underneath a normal interior door would let the signal in. -Adam _____ -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com <mailto:AF@af.afmug.com> http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
