Surprised they were able to get hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of customers
on 802.16e. Maybe 320 worked better than what we used. I was never willing to
put any gamers on it because the latency was all over the place. Which was
ironic because part of the WiMax hype was that latency would be a bit high but
very constant because … magic.

Happy because they provide a solid foundation for a new outhouse he was
building, or because he intended to sell them for something above zero dollars.
Or rubles, yuan, or whatever?

Anyone know what I’d get for a box of PMP 320’s? A big box :)

We should put them on eBay at full MSRP.

I think I have one new in a box too. Might donate it to a museum or something
:)

we still have like 3 900mhz customers across 2 APs that wont die and cant be
otherwize converted. Those FSK radios are resilient

Hell, we have one 2.4.fhss Alvarion BreezeAccessII in the air serving one
customer 1.2mbps. We dont even have the tools to do the RG58 cable on those
anymore. the customer is happy, and we told him 10 years ago we can only serve
him til his radio or the AP die. they just wont die

Yesterday going through spare SMs I found a NIB 900 MHz PMP100 SM. I suspect
we have a few used ones around along with Yagis, but this one was still in the
box, never deployed. Oh, well.

orig coverage area. they were customers since 2013. still on a 3 meg plan.
