Yeah I’d love if I could find one of those cheap OTDR’s at 1650nm. Last time I looked all the cheapos were 1310 or 1550.

My Exfo just stopped powering up today, so evidently I'm in the market for a new one. The Exfo is about 14 years old, so I assume they've come a little ways since then.
