That’s not a crazy theory. A band 41 radio can have pretty high Tx power.

Cell companies do not use 2.4 at all. The antenna you circled appears to be t-mobile B41 which is their 2.5ghz spectrum. So maybe that is bleeding over into the 2.4 band a little. None of the LTE bands (https://www.sqimway.com/lte_band.php) overlap with 2.4ghz, and I can’t imagine they’d backhaul with it. It could be something like an OOB management network between towers, but that’s just speculation. Either way I think you have no recourse except to swap to a different band. Presumably your ePMP interferes with whatever they’re doing too, but if it’s something where their needs are light then maybe they don’t care. We have an old site that services some customers with ePMP 1000 2.4ghz as unfortunately since they have LOS. However right before Christmas noise floor change from tolerable to -59 across the entire spectrum. Last few days we been looking for the source and appears to be coming from a cell tower. Has anyone else seen cell companies using 2.4ghz? Here is a couple of photos along with what I think is the device that’s putting out 2.4ghz. anyone have an idea what that is?
