I built a 200 psi water pump and have a blowing carrot with a Y fitting on
it. I also made a little piston with cup seals on it but you could probably
just make something out of plastic or wood. Then you attach mule tape and
pump this thing down the duct. You can even install fiber with it.
You might be able to just stuff the fiber in. If it is full of water the
fiber will almost float and the water will lube it. If it is stiff enough
it would go. It won't hurt anything to try I don't think.
All my jetting machines push it and it will go a very long way with no air
or water behind it. I think that is what I would try first if you thing it
isn't full of mud or gunk. This is a pretty short span for blowing/jetting
fiber. I have done 6000' before in microfiber and almost always can do
2500' of any kind of fiber without difficulty.

Subject: [AFMUG] Renting a Rodder
I have a 700' and 800' empty, but water filled, 1.25"duct I need to get
fiber through (No pull line). My Rodder is only 600' Is there anyplace
that would rent a 1000' rodder for a couple days? We tried to shop vac
it out, but just not enough pull to get the water out over that
distance. Are there other methods I haven't thought of yet? I only
have home/shop sized air compressors, I'd have to go rent a scroll
compressor to try to blow it.
