I remember qemm and deskview...multitasking.  maybe run a 2nd line as 
paid....your paid membership callers get access to that line.  First line is 
free....

Eventually I used the second line as my internet line.  I graduated high school 
in 1995....same year we got dialup internet.

What did you run the BBS on?  Our biggest local BBS ran on an Amiga 2000 with 
24 modems but I don’t remember much else about it.  I was one of the sysops for 
a while………. Best part of it was the games.  The Risk type game was pretty much 
determined by whoever got in first after Midnight (when you could make the

Ok let me rephrase.  Has anyone used Mikrotik as a BMU as an LNS server to 
connect to another provider's LAC server.   With powercode managing the leases. 

Just curious if it can be done.
