I have used them with the ISP management option and it isn't that great and is very limited on what you can do. You know things like configuring IPV6 isn't available via the management platform.

Personal is free, I don't think there is a limit, I assume the ISP option has better management at scale? And I'm sure there are recurring fees.

Are there additional recurring fees for the cloud based

yeah the tp-link deco's are solid, I've heard mixed reviews
about the isp option, but you can buy them and deploy on
individual accounts (I actually have quite a few deployed on my
personal deco sign in) cloud managed and work great

Interesting, any idea how to find out more about the
centrally managed option? The TP link routers I've used have
        seemed decent.

A neighboring WISP uses them and really likes them.  I

            from a dashboard.Â

We are excited to share our newest and fastest Wi-Fi
router is now available to all existing Rise
Broadband customers! Our newest routers are able to
accomodate multiple connected devices without the
Wi-Fi strains on your home network from today's high
                demand Internet connected devices.

How can you tell if you need to replace your
router?  Here are a few indications it might be
                time to upgrade your router:

                1. Are you competing for bandwidth with the other
                members of your household?
                2. Is the router struggling to support all the
connected devices on your home network by buffering
or not connecting new or existing devices?
                3. Are your Internet speeds reduced when using Wi-Fi
compared to plugging directly into the Internet source?

If you have noticed any of these, then it might be
time to upgrade your Wi-Fi router. According to Cnet
                experts recommend replacing your router
every 2-5 years depending on if you use a lot of
smart home gadgets or new technology like laptops,
phones and other primary Wi-Fi devices.1
