Speaking of TI, many moons ago we set up some temporary 5GHz video links using Trango radios for a TxDOT project in Dallas area...some of the cameras and radios were installed on roof of TI building...as we were escorted up the stairs by security, one of our tower guys called me on my Engenius 900MHz cordless phone to say he was ready to align...the security guard was surprised because he said the building was RF secure and they blocked cellphones.. He asked to borrow it so they could check it out...lol.. Apparently the 1 watt and FHSS modulation used by these was not something they were prepared for!! We had a lot of fun with those phones..true full duplex and crystal clear..
