they talked about that, basically, once a perfect self defense is shown,
there is no charge that can stand. an imperfect self defense would have
potentially opened the door for a lesser charge, but Wisconsin doesnt have
an unintentional homicide equivalent. There is a lot of claims of "vague"
laws on the books in WI, but INAL reading of applicable statutes seems that
theyre overly specific there.

"Wisconsin law does not provide for the crime of 'unintentional homicide',
a homicide committed without intent is still a homicide, although it may be
reckless or negligent. A negligent homicide may still have intent, but the
intent may have been to do some other act. As well, the act intended may
differ from the act that resulted and the person may still be charged with
homicide."
