Thinking back to that conversation: These guys used Calix for their fiber 
network and they liked the Calix home WiFi stuff, but they also did fixed 
wireless and DOCSIS.  So they wanted something like Calix’s wifi, but it had to 
be independent of the Calix GPON so they could use the same system with their 
fixed wireless and cable.  Plume ticked all their boxes.

 

I have no idea what it costs.

I know of an ISP using Plume.  They are selling whole house wifi for 
$12.99/month and apparently they are selling the heck out of that.

I haven’t used it myself, but the other ISP I’ve talked to seems very happy
