Thinking back to that conversation: These guys used Calix for their fiber network and they liked the Calix home WiFi stuff, but they also did fixed wireless and DOCSIS. So they wanted something like Calix’s wifi, but it had to be independent of the Calix GPON so they could use the same system with their fixed wireless and cable. Plume ticked all their boxes.
I have no idea what it costs. -Adam From: dmmoff...@gmail.com <dmmoff...@gmail.com> Sent: Friday, October 29, 2021 9:45 AM To: 'AnimalFarm Microwave Users Group' <af@af.afmug.com> Subject: RE: [AFMUG] Plume managed WiFi I know of an ISP using Plume. They are selling whole house wifi for $12.99/month and apparently they are selling the heck out of that. I haven’t used it myself, but the other ISP I’ve talked to seems very happy with it.
