The 3ghz 450B can be configured as point to point radios (one can be set as a PTP master, and the other a PTP slave). I'm not sure if that's true of the other variants or not, but it definitely is for the 450B 3ghz. You do need to setup all the CBRS stuff though (assuming he's in the US).
