Bucket trucks can spend a LOT of time idling. Check that before you just look at the miles.
We have a truck with 200k but the engine is only 1yr old because the old engine died from oil starvation at idle. One is a Nissan UD truck with around 40k miles, the other is a GMC 5500 with about 198k miles. They both look to be in decent shape for their age. The Nissan is a bit of a strange layout with a cab-over kind of setup, but otherwise seems like a decent deal. They are around the same price. Does anyone have experience with either of these?
