I wonder what happens when horizontal snow accumulates on the radome?

80+0 will go far, but with rain fade gotta stay under 3 miles. 80+11 which I
just deployed at 9km holds full 10g but it hasn't rained yet, it will drop
modulations and push power as the fade occurs then finally drop to 11ghz
without dropping any packets if that fades it will drop one 11ghz channel to
push max power through the last 11ghz channel. Neat stuff but man was 80 hard
to align.

Mimosa b11 is the only one that isn't high / low for sparing but it's wifi
based and junk imo. I think Aviat is the only game in town, I can call you and
bring you up to speed in a few minutes we've done tons of these links recently.

Upto 1.4g at mw and 10g mmw, they have a dual band single antenna radio
80+11/18/23 that does 10gbps with 1.4gbps during rain fade. I have one stable @
6 miles with 2ft.

      Chuck -

If you can send me the coordinates and any antenna size restrictions, I
can run this in Pathloss and send you the expected performance using our
ALFOplus2 radios. They will do 1.4 Gbps full-duplex using 2x 80MHz XPIC
channels/4096QAM.

      Thanks,

Figured it out. Looks like it will work. What is the most current,
fresh, high throughput solution these days for something like this. 5 miles.
Need 1 gig or more. Not much rain fade in Utah.
Hopefully I can find 11 GHz frequencies, but 18 if I have to.

Be super nice if one unit could serve as a spare rather than having to
buy both ends to spare it.
AF11 get up to 1 gig full duplex yet?

It is not showing earth curvature in the path profile now. Still
something wrong.

Interesting, I tried 1/3rd arc second and it worked. Never got that find
of elevation data before in RM. Nice. I guess the site dealing out the 1 arc
second data is not up anymore.

Went to use RM today and it will not download SRTM data. Acts like it
cannot find the FTP site.
Anyone know how to fix this?
