I had to look Chloramine up again as I remembered it but not from
where... Interesting factoid.. It's the most common form to add to
our water supplies in bulk and used to be added right at the head ends
of big water feeds like right out of the dams and into the lower
lakes. Now they put it in and then remove it before going into the
lower lakes to make the lakes better for lifeforms before putting back
in again before going to the taps..

(I just about offed myself one weekend. I was using CO2 to chill some
Carlson radios that were bound for Canada. Customer wanted proof of
cold weather function. Used a chest freezer and a tank of C02. It
worked great. Put my head down in the freezer and the lights went
out. Only lasted a couple of seconds as I fell out of the freezer
rather than into it. )
