If they’re saying there’s no pin then put one on the account and use that pin. At least twice Time Warner Cable ported a number without having an LOA or even an order. Both were situations where the customer filled out an inquiry form online and someone at TWC was gung-ho to convert that lead. So I deduce that carriers have the ability to port whenever they want, but they don't have the authority to port whenever they want. Find someone who says "screw authority" and pushes the button. I currently have 2 Customers that Windstream is rejecting the port due to incorrect PIN. When the Customers call windstream and try to get the pin.. Windstream states there is no PIN for their acct. I am not able to find anything on their landline phone bill that resembles a PIN. Anyone had any experience with figuring out the magic passphrase the customers can tell Windstream to get the PIN or know of another way to get the number to port.
