Although I'm not sure about a lot of those newfangled words, but we really did need a word to cover all of the crap one has to do when hiring a new employee.... i-9, w-4, this paperwork that paperwork, getting all of the accounts set up, making sure they have access to the files, doing intitial training, etc. etc. etc. .... Not sure onboarding is the right term but it's as good as any.
