I have a friend that hosts cPanel servers in Albuquerque. Their ideal customer is one that is technically able to run things on their own, but might need a little back end help now and then.
Their main business is high performance computing support for LANL, but built up a VMWare infrastructure to suit some internal needs. They sell VPS services and some integration as well, but expect their customers to be mostly autonomous. It's really just selling VPS on a VMware infrastructure, but they build cPanel and WHM up for you, and then let you do whatever you need. It's been a good framework for several folks. If might be too "no frills" for your needs, but you might drop him a note with your needs.
