They sell the dishes pretty cheap, considering they include the bracket, the
molded plastic piece that holds the radio, and the IP55 or IP67 door or gland.
I don’t think they want Chuck to make any money selling dishes.

Isn’t it something like $64 for a 4-pack? At that price I honestly wonder if
they make any money (obviously you also have to buy the SM and those aren’t
cheap). The packaging alone must cost a few bucks (if you’ve ever unboxed
them, you know what I mean).

We had gotten some from cti

It's the dishes that seem to be the root cause. Take one to a machine shop
fabricator and see what it will cost to have some made, may be cheaper than you
expect. Might even be worth trying a 3d print, might get pricey. I believe you
can order cases of feed horns now.

I doubt making your own dishes passes FCC muster, but maybe.

Theres a guy named chuck here who knows a thing or two about machining stuff.

Stamping and rolling a dish lip probably requires specific tooling, but you
never know what tooling a fabricator has unless you ask.

You could even get all crazy and get custom mounts made up if techs dont like
the clamps.

I dont know if the force200 dish is the same size and shape, but it's possible
you might find a fabricator who can retrofit those. I think every cambium shop
that went to 300 has a pile of 200s they're trying to figure out what to do
with.
