Maybe it's the Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 I use from time to time,
but I have extreme problems with the mouse becoming jerky if my laptop is on
2.4 GHz WiFi. I think I've seen this before too, since Bluetooth uses 2.4 GHz,
it doesn't seem to coexist well with WiFi. You'd think the proprietary
wireless USB thingies would have the same problem, but I haven't seen it.

There was a review a few days ago of a new Logitech compact mouse that said it
was available in corded, Bluetooth or proprietary wireless. I have an older
Logitech corded mouse and it's awesome.

There's also an MX Keys keyboard that says it supports Bluetooth.

Subject: [AFMUG] OT: external keyboards and mice

We have this cool protocol built into pretty much every laptop, new desktop and
mobile devices called BlueTooth.

Why does every keyboard and mouse manufacturer see fit to make their device
only work with their proprietary wireless dongle?

You used to be able to find Bluetooth mice. Lately in the last few years they
seem to be like hen’s teeth.
