Our early FTTH installs we used a type called "butterfly" drop cable which had an integrated steel strength member.  I wouldn't use it outdoors again.....but you could really pull the hell out of that steel.  Pulled it through a 3/4" irrigation pipe with a chevy silverado when there was too much friction to pull by hand.

We got it from FIS and it was dirt cheap.  Access to the bare fiber was easy too....just peels apart.  They were selling it for aerial drops, but for a lot of reasons I didn't actually like it for aerial.

What indoor fiber is the most resistant to pulling?

We are finding that on old MDUs conduits are packed, and we are having a hard time pulling fiber.  The fiber we are using is the armored one form FS.com and sometimes it breaks.

Looking for alternatives.
