OK, those look good, like little Mexican pitas.  I’m not so sure about pupusas.

I thought maybe they were like a chalupa, but no.  Maybe a chalupa is a failed 
gordita that is too big and doesn’t form a pocket so you use it like a thick 
taco shell.

I’ve never eaten a pupusa.  Put some smoked peppers and spicy vinegar and 
avocados and bacon on them?
