No, I don’t think so. Some are.
You want to avoid the ones that won’t switch off commercial power until it drops below something like 80 V. Those are fine for boats and RVs to switch between shore power and an inverter, because the commercial power is either there or it isn’t. But at our tower sites, it seems like at least half of power failures are partial voltage, we see anything from 60 to 90 volts, and most electronics won’t run on that. Nothing pisses me off like driving to a tower site that’s down, and finding 4 days worth of fully charged batteries for the inverter, but the ATS is delivering 85 volts to the loads thinking that should be just fine.
