Do the merge pictures/landcover step. You can select different ftp servers if you are having problems. Also you might want to right click and run as administrator when you run Radio Mobile, sometimes that would get around cannot connect message if you did indeed have connectivity. Remember to get your options set to save a local copy of the file. For your region create a large zoomed out map of areas you think you will be working in all of the time, let the program download all the clutter files and you will always have them on your local drive. A long time ago I built up a full hard drive of the data. It doesn't change enough to think you always need to download a fresh copy from the net. The terrain and clutter files haven't changed in quite a few years now.
