I don't really understand the complaints about "cancel culture". If it'sabout people shutting down things they don't like then that behaviorexists everywhere, and I'm not sure why some groups think they'rejustified in using it as an attack against another group. There'sliterally no society or section of society where some behavior or otherwon't get you "canceled". Don't believe me? Go to a Three Percentersmeeting and tell them the NFA is compatible with the constitution, andthen observe as you are canceled by the cancel culture.

I get the idea of not triggering someone's PTSD.....which is what"trigger warning" was originally about. A "safe space" was supposed tobe a place where you won't be harassed for being black or gay (etc). Ifirst heard both terms in media that was ridiculing the weakness ofpeople who needed such things. Whether it's really a weakness to notwant to set off a person with mental problems or to want to be safeisn't as important as the fact that the terms no longer mean anythingexcept to insult a perceived weakness in someone else.

A militia meeting is a "safe space" for Three Percenters and Boogaloosto fully express their views about the elitist pedophile cabaldiscretely implementing communism in the USA. What a bunch of weak-assbabies for feeling safe in their safe space while not feeling safe toexpress those ideas in the general public who would absolutely "cancel"them for being a bunch of weirdos. I'm a believer in the importance ofthe second amendment and I'm a gun owner (and it's one of those evilsemi automatic rifles with a box magazine and a black composite stock),and I would be all about joining a militia whose purpose was to defendthe country and respond to natural disasters with no weird, politicalconspiracy BS baked in. Too bad there isn't one.

The 5% of remaining true believers then become an irrelevantfringe element which can now be ignored.

And yeah by the way: The "silent majority" doesn't secretly agree withanybody in particular. They actually find both ends of the politicalspectrum repulsive and frightening. They're silent for the same reasonyou silently walk past a wild eyed street preacher who smells likewhiskey and urine.

If anyone doesn't feel sufficiently canceled then I'd be happy to rantabout whatever political affiliation you prefer. I don't want todiscriminate. Fight me Steve.

    I think that may be factually incorrect.  He promised to choose a
    woman.  Some have pushed him to choose a “woman of color”, but if
    he announced his running mate will be black, I missed that.  Two
    frequently mentioned candidates are indeed Kamala Harris and Susan
    Rice.  Amy Klobuchar took her name off the list.   Also supposedly
    on the short list is Tammy Duckworth who is Asian-American (mother
    was Thai Chinese), as well as some other black and Hispanic
    candidates.  I won’t mention Elizabeth Warren or you guys will
    make Pocahontas jokes.

    Supposedly we’ll all find out in about a week.

    I didn't want to admit this, but I didn't actually understand it.

    I mean I know who Joe biden and Aunt Jemima are.  I know Aunt
