We did a batch of smokies for a pot luck a few months before the pandemic. I wrapped each one in thick-sliced bacon and baked them for 20 minutes or so. I think there were 40 of them in the package and the whole batch disappeared in about 5 minutes.

I Found a bottle of Poweraid from 2014 yesterday.  I sent the wife my GPS Coordinates in case I went missing.  Still tasted fine.
