I know you find it a sin to put peppers in vinegar, but we are talking rice
vinegar here
slice 4-6 decent size serranos and 2 habanero (green has better flavor,
orange has better heat) and layer them in a pint jar seeds and all. fill it
with rice vinegar and refrigerate it for 2 days. flavored heat without the
pepper sitting in your gut destroying everything it sees

I spoon this vinegar onto everything, that sandwich is begging for a
spoonful sopped into the bread.

I also dumped the spicy vinegar and half the peppers from the jar into a
pan of homestyle ribs after searing them and baked them for a few hours, so
tasty.
