I used to think of Tater Tots as stuff you feed little kids, but they are the perfect pandemic food.
They go with almost everything, they come in a bag so you just shake out how ever many you want to make, they are tolerant of different oven temperatures so you can throw them in with whatever else you are making, and if you make too many they heat up fine the next day in the toaster oven. Plus none of the frozen French fries are any good, if you don’t have a deep fryer, it’s baked potatoes or Tots. They last forever in the freezer, and are a staple you need to always have on hand like flour and toilet paper. I prefer the Mini Tater Tots, and baking them hotter and longer than the directions say. But the toaster oven also works.
