We have had really good luck with Pepwave. Theirs works with any carrier. The SOHO version is only $175. If you want something really compact the BR1 series is the industrial version. It is tiny and a little more expensive running between $250 and $550 depending on what you want. The BR1 compares more directly with the Cradlepoint and a closer price point to it as well. Just another option that works really well.
