We played golf in 5+ aftershocks.   Came up with a 5 second rule that if the ball was within 1 foot of the hole after a put you got to wait 5 seconds for an aftershock to knock it in...

A 5.7 is minor league. You should try out a 7. The 1989 Loma Prieta was a 6.9 or 7.2 depending on which scale you use. Either way, it created a pretty major disruption around here.
