We just got an order from the county health department. It is a bay-area-wide order affecting all 9 counties. They are essentially ordering a shelter in place exempting "essential services". The list of essential services is quite long. It includes getting groceries, medical supplies, medical services, and on and on. Restaurants and bars/taverns/wineries are considered non-essential, but restaurants are allowed to serve take-out only. Non-compliance is enforced by fine and/or jail time.

Well I got my first business customer affected by coronavirus call.
Offered them half price for 4 months and revisit it if we're still all
stuck inside. They're in the hospitality and event planning business
which has dropped to nothing and they had to lay off all but 2 people.
