I had some of the super cheap 100ah batteries sound like they were boiling
when I plugged in the charger.  The ink right on them said whatever voltage
to apply to (if floating, there's another voltage for cycles) so I have to
assume it's right.

I don't believe they've even left float voltage in the last year, so all I
can say is that they're still sitting there.
