Honestly if you look into them most if not all are losing money. Those that are not have dramatically increased prices. Youtube TV is losing money like crazy but maybe Google does not care. DTVNow got ATT in trouble with shareholders. As someone who deals with content providers on a daily basis I can tell you they are greedy and getting worse.

If you're AT&T or Disney that may make sense at least in the short term. Maybe not so much if you're Sony. So you try to sell it or you shut it down. -----Original Message----- From: AF <af-boun...@af.afmug.com> On Behalf Of Nate Burke Sent: Tuesday, October 29, 2019 5:29 PM To: Animal Farm <af@af.afmug.com> Subject: [AFMUG] PS Vue Shutting down Just got my notice today that VUE is shutting down Jan 20. Too bad. I used a couple of the Live TV services before settling on that one and it was the best UI of all of them, and had the most channels (at that time). Wonder why it didn't work out for them. Or is there some backroom deal where they shut down and get a cut of someone else's. -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
