Are you talking about just as like an office switch? I've had a CRS
doing my home network for a couple years without an issue. I also have
a couple scattered around the server room as switches connecting
servers. I haven't touched them since I put them in.

We route with mikrotiks so we are aware of the mikrotik funky stuff,
the cost offsets those
