Depends on the features you want. Just recently I purchased a Canon color full function laser printer. It was partially dead on arrival so I sent it back via Amazon where I purchased it. Super easy to send back.
Then I purchased an HP MFP M281fdw It's been good. I have a VoIP fax box I connect to it, and I do scan stuff occasionally on it too. For my home I got another older HP color laser printer (printer only) and purchased replacement cartridges online for it.
