For us it should have come up in the ESE. That said, we had high cirriform clouds last night, which almost made Jupiter too obscured. No chance of seeing the moons.

Don’t forget to go look toward the Southwest right after sundown tonight.  With field glasses setting on something stationary you can see the moons of Jupiter.  Tiny pinpricks of light to the lower left and upper right of the main disk.  I doubt you will have trouble finding it.  Pretty much the brightest thing in the sky other than the Moon.
