The only issue with SSDs is the write endurance, and most of them now have
a certain percentage of spare cells to stave that off for a while. They
generally won't go toes up all at once, but will lose cells, or blocks of
cells at some point. You will get more endurance if you oversize them to
minimize cell re-use. If you think you need 1TB, get 2TB, and it will cut
cell re-use by 50%.
Way, way faster.
