Yep, we do that with our data center and MT. Its load balancing and failover more than “bonding” bonding is a very strict thing, and like Ken said, LAG or MLPPP is about the only things you can do to create a true bond, but 99% of the time, when you look at it, bonding is NOT something that most people require, just load balancing and failover is fine with them.
