I wrote an exporter shortly after it came out as we had trouble switching with 
it and I was using a script with procomm to do much the same thing.  It didn’t 
have an undo so I converted the config file.  

But that had to have been more than 10 years ago.  I think I used C.  Different 
lifetime ago.  As I recall it was pretty quick and easy.  Like 10 or 15 minutes 
of code writing.

CNUT network files are in XML. Basically plain text with an XML structure. 
There must be something that can convert the XML into Excel or something.
