As for your first concern and specifically for these questions "Why am I getting an empty results for this query? Is it impossible to get the products report in a PERFORMANCE_MAX campaign? or should I use another report?", I am happy that you found the workaround and I can confirm that it is correct. The reason is provided in this document that do not select an AdGroup when querying Performance Max campaigns, as no campaigns will be returned. Moving to the second concern and specifically for these questions "How can I get the asset_group where the product results from this query belongs? How can I get the relationship between this report and the asset_group?", so that we can check the available resources in the Google Ads API that can be used to get this information, could you provide the screenshot of the UI showing it?
