I'm Kevin from the Google Ads API Team. Existing campaigns will be the only ones affected by the auto-migration. You can read the details listed under the Upgrade impact on existing campaigns section of the blog post, if you haven't done so already. With the details released as of now, there will be no changes in behavior for Performance Max campaigns. However, I suggest you continue to follow our blog so you can get updated in case there will be additional details/changes regarding this.
