Thank you for reaching out to us. In looking over your post it would seem that 
while this is unusually, this would appear to be intended behavior. The fact 
that your got the "UNKNOWN" response shows us that it worked as expected. As 
for why? That we could not answer. What we would suggest is to look over this 
documentation about migration.
