The ID of the audiences in the API report and UI should be matched because the 
API report only mirrors the value of the UI. However, so that I can investigate 
the issue, please provide the following details via Reply privately to author 
option:

Customer ID
Screenshot of the whole UI where you are comparing the report
Complete request and response logs with request ID
Sample comparison where we can see the discrepancies of the UI and API report
