Thanks for reaching out to us with your question. The duplicates you see are 
not duplicates because you are correct in that the same categories have 
different parent categories, which is why they are appearing more than once. 
Here is the additional information to assist in identifying uniqueness between 
Mobile app categories. Please use the ID’s to reference each category. The 
mobile_app_category_constant should be mapped to their criteria based on the 
IDs. I have raised a feature request with the team. Please keep an eye on the 
Google Ads API Blog for more updates.
