Upon checking with the rest of our team, it appears that you are encountering this error because you are trying to pause an automatically generated ad. This is the reason why you are also not able to view it in the Google Ads UI. Could you confirm if what you intend is to really pause the specific ad? Could you also try pausing the ad group instead as a workaround? Let me know if pausing the ad group resolves your issue.
