I have a headline on my landing page that grabs URL parameters and inserts them into the headline.
For example: [grab location from url parameter] Plumbing Services -> Los Angeles Plumbing Services I want to pass the searcher's location through a URL parameter so I can fetch it for the headline. I know that this is possible through the {loc_physical_ms} ValueTrack parameter but it returns a code instead of a town/city name. I'm sure I could find a way to convert the numeric code into a town name, but I'm very code inept and this will take some time. In the meantime, I'm wondering if there is any other way to do this. Can you convert the {loc_physical_ms} on AdWords side so it puts the town/city name instead of the code in the URL parameter? p.s. I currently use ad customizers to display relevant locations to searchers (Los Angeles Plumbing Services) There's no way to put this ad customizer value into the URL parameters right? That would be the ideal solution for me. Thanks so much to anyone with insight.
