Hi Stephen, For service requests, we usually recommend that users use the supported client libraries <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/clientlibraries> instead for ease of usage. Since you are using a different approach, I would not be able to comment further. However, you may refer to this guide <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/call-structure> on how API calls are structured and passed.
