Since AdWords API and AdMob are on very different platform, the UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR error that you encountered in AdMob can't be fixed using the AdWords API solutions. Also, since you've already posted on the Google AdMob Help Forum, I would suggest to kindly wait for their response.
