Hi Alvin, For now, you could continue using the V201702 version of AdWords API. Please note that this version is marked for sunset <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/sunset-dates> on 14 Feb 2018 after which all the requests made against this version of the API will fail. Could you ask this question on the PHP client library issues tracker <https://github.com/googleads/googleads-php-lib/issues>? The library owner might be able to suggest any possible workarounds.
