Hi Daniel, On the AdWords API perspective, these types of video ads as template ads <https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/templateads> are still supported. However, since your concern is more on the product level (if these type of ads are no longer shown in YouTube and other network partners), I recommend you to please post this concern in the AdWords Community Forum <https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Google-AdWords/ct-p/Google_AdWords#> as their team can better assist you on the product level issues/concerns.
